I have always been fascinated by success. And, what I mean by that is, I wanted to have the best possible life.

My dream was to be SUCCESSFUL & FREE. And not everyone will admit to this, but I also wanted to have all the nice things life had to offer too. You know, the big houses, the fancy cars, great vacations...I just thought, ‘why not me?’. Beyond that, I wanted to be happy, and I only bring all of this up because growing up, when I would look at high-achieving, successful people in the world, I wanted to know what they did that was different. Why them? Why not other people? Was it just luck? Were they in the right place at the right time? Or do they do things differently? As I mentioned, I was fascinated by success.

I have zero problem admitting I failed school miserably. I won’t bore you with all the details, but I was a good kid; I just couldn't manage to pass an exam. At the age of 16, I failed my final exams so badly that there was no option for me to stay in the education system. No College would take me. To make matters worse, I was surrounded by very bright, academic, and intelligent family members and friends, so a familiar feeling I felt growing up was that I was not very bright or capable of achieving much in life. Basically, I was doomed to fail.

We are told that if you fail the education system, there is no hope for you. But, with my obsession for success, I wanted to prove that whole thing wrong. So, I made a promise to myself that I would find a way of succeeding. So, at the tender age of 16, I took a job in the world of commercial real estate. I was the tea boy starting out all the way from the very bottom.

As I turned 17, I received the call that changed my life. It was from a total stranger. His name was Nigel. Nigel was the most successful person I had ever met. He invited me to lunch, and I was in awe. What did he want from me? He went on to tell me that he simply wanted to help me, almost like a gift from God. It almost seemed too good to be true!

But he did. He went out of his way to help me, and he didn't just give me guidance and advice for the real estate industry, but he gave me an encyclopedia of how the big wide world worked too. How to succeed, how to achieve, how to be a good person, how to find happiness & fulfillment. The list went on. He would meet with me every four weeks at the same restaurant, the same table in the window. We would even take the same seats. Then, lunch after lunch, he would answer any question I had. He also continued to guide me as I navigated my way through the real estate industry.

I was 23, and I started to implement and use all these tools and principles that Nigel would teach me, especially around goal-setting, visualizing, manifesting, dreaming. And my biggest goal or dream at that time was to go into business with my school childhood best friend and fellow school dropout, Shaun. So I applied the tools I learned around manifestation, and before I knew it, as we turned 25, we set up our Company, Hatton Real Estate. It was amazing we we're having great success.

Since meeting Nigel, it was only a few short years later that I was running a business that was literally changing the industry and leading the way. Things were going great; everything we touched was quite literally turning to gold, and then... out of nowhere, a global real estate company reached out to us. They wanted to buy the business in a deal that would change my life. All of this exciting and mind-blowing but...where I want to go with this is;

Nigel's influence, guidance, and mentorship touched me deeply. He taught me everything, and I had always sworn that I would pay it back one day and do the same for others as he did for me. I now know for certain that regular people like you and I DO achieve extraordinary things every single day. But, I know that you reading this may think that by looking up at your idol, favorite athlete, entrepreneur, musician or actor, they are out of reach. They are not. Trust me. Success is available to us all. And I will show you how just as Nigel showed me.

Nigel was an entrepreneur in his mid-50’s and was the most successful and impressive person I had ever met. He invited me to lunch, and I was in awe. What was it that he wanted from me? He went on to tell me that he simply wanted to help me, almost like a gift from God. It all seemed too good to be true!

But he did - he went out of his way to help me. He didn't just give me guidance and advice for the real estate industry, but he gave me an encyclopaedia of how the big wide world worked too—how to succeed, how to achieve, how to be a good person, how to find happiness & fulfilment.
